Windows 10 connects to many servers even if a computer is just turned on. If you want to protect your personal data you should configure Windows in order to reduce these connections to minimum. By using this configuration and Windows Spy Blocker you can reduce connections to data mining servers and other servers from about 1000 per 8 hours to 70!!

1. Go to Start menu and type privacy settings. Click on 'Privacy settings'.

2. Go to 'General' and disable everything.

3. Go to 'speach' and disable 'Online speech recognition'.

4. Go to 'Inking & typing personalization' and disable it.

5. At 'Diagnostics & feedback' tab choose Requiered diagnostic data and disable 'Tailored experiences',

disable 'View diagnostic data' and delete them. Change 'Feedback frequency' to never.

6. At 'Activity history' tab uncheck settings and clear activity history.

7. At 'Location' tab turn off location access to this device,

then clear 'Location history'.

8. If you have a camera on your computer you should disable 'Camera access for this device', so no one will have access to it through an application. In case you need to use your camera you can give access to a specific application.

9. Do the same with Microphone.

10. Finally turn off 'file system access for this device'.
